Hey there! I've been researching and piecing together my first PC build, and I'm hoping to get some insights on compatibility and any potential improvements while sticking to my budget. I'm planning to run semi-modded Skyrim Special Edition and The Sims 4, as well as other vanilla open-world/RPG games. Here's what I've landed on so far:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor - $158.99
- **CPU Cooler**: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition - $25.99
- **Motherboard**: MSI B550-A PRO ATX AM4 - $110.99
- **Memory**: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 - $77.98
- **Storage**: WD Black SN850X 1 TB NVMe SSD - $91.80
- **Video Card**: PNY GeForce RTX 3060 Ti - $365.88
- **Case**: HYTE Y70 Touch - $564.40
- **Power Supply**: Gigabyte P450B 450 W - $179.90
- **Operating System**: Windows 10 Home (N/A)

Total estimated cost: $1,575.93. Let me know your thoughts on this setup!

That case price is a bit wild, huh? But hey, if looks are your main priority, I get it! Consider the NZXT H510 instead; it's way easier on the wallet. Just a thought!

Haha, yeah, I know! I’m trying to decide whether I can go for something simpler. The touch screen is awesome, but I might have to push for function over form this time.

Did you really do all that research yourself? I have a Ryzen 5 5600X paired with a 3070, and I hit CPU bottlenecks pretty often. You might want to consider that when picking your GPU. What do you think your main use will be?

Yeah, I pulled everything together from what I found on PCPartPicker and online videos, but I'm just starting out. I mainly want to enjoy open-world games without too much lag, so I’m hoping for good performance!
