Hey everyone! I just got my first job and I'm saving up for a gaming PC. Right now, I have an Xbox Series S and enjoy playing games like GTA, Roblox, Minecraft, and Sims 4. I'm curious about what kind of PC would be good for playing those games, especially since I'm not focused on GTA. Would a budget of $1,000 be too much or too little for my first gaming setup?

You can definitely get a solid gaming PC for $1,000! I built a rig for about $650 that runs most games smoothly. It has a Ryzen 5 5600x, a GTX 1660 Super, 32GB RAM, and 1TB of storage. I can get about 200 fps on most games, except for Minecraft where I hit around 700-800 fps. Just make sure to check out the specs and compatibility when you build or buy one!
For your budget, you can find good options, but don't forget that performance can change based on settings. The GTX 1660 Super is a decent choice, but if you're playing on high settings, don't expect 200 fps in every game. 70 fps at high settings is more realistic. Just keep that in mind when you decide on the components.
