Hey everyone! I'm just starting out with PC building and I could really use your advice on choosing a GPU. My main uses will be gaming (mostly FPS and simulation games) and some light video editing—not anything too heavy or professional. I'm aiming for smooth gameplay and basic editing capabilities without any hiccups. I've been eyeing the RTX 4070 and 4080, but it seems like they're sold out or way over my budget right now. My total budget for the whole build is between $2,000 and $2,500, so I need to be mindful of costs. Any suggestions?

The 4000 series has been hard to find lately since the 5000 series is out. For your budget, I’d recommend looking at combos like the 7800X3D or 9800X3D with the 9070xt, 5070ti, or even the 5080. They should provide a solid performance for both gaming and light editing. You’ll get a nice balance without breaking the bank!
Is it really realistic to find a good GPU for under $1,000 now? I was hoping there might still be some decent, more affordable options available!
