Looking for GPU Upgrade Advice

Hey everyone, I'm thinking about upgrading my GPU. I've got my eye on the 4070 super (link included), but I'm not super knowledgeable about the latest components. I'm open to any suggestions, including older models from the 5000 series or recommendations for AMD cards. Honestly, I'm just exploring my options, so if you think I shouldn't upgrade at all, I'd love to hear that too. I'm situated in Australia, where GPU prices are generally higher than in the US. The main reason for this upgrade is to enhance my gaming graphics performance. For context, here's my current setup:

- Monitor: Gigabyte M34WQ UWQHD 144Hz FreeSync HDR IPS 34in
- CPU: Intel Core i9-11900F
- Motherboard: ASUS ROG Maximus XIII Hero
- Current GPU: GeForce RTX 3060 Ti ROG Strix
- Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB RAM 3600 MHz
- Power Supply: Corsair HX1000 Platinum 1000W
- Cooling: ASUS ROG Strix LC 240 AIO Liquid CPU Cooler

Thanks for any advice!

If you're looking for something significant, I think the 5080 or possibly even the 4090 would be worthwhile options. Only notable upgrades from the 4070 super, honestly.

I don't know what the prices are like in Australia, but that seems steep for a 4070 super. It really depends on what you're looking to achieve with the upgrade, like whether you want to game at 1440p or just need better performance for gaming. Knowing your goals can help narrow things down!

Exactly! Australia definitely gets hit hard with prices. Just to clarify, I'm mainly after gaming performance, nothing else.

I'm using an 4080 and it's been fantastic! If you're not ready to jump to the newer models, even a 3080 would be a solid upgrade for you.
