Hey everyone! I've had my PC for about 10 months now, but unfortunately, my motherboard (MSI PRO B650-S WiFi) has broken down. It has been giving me boot issues for a while and now it won't even let me access the BIOS. I'm in need of a new motherboard and would love some recommendations. Here's the spec of my build:
- AMD Ryzen 5 7500F
- 20GB AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT
- 32GB DDR5 RAM
- 2TB NVMe SSD
- MSI PRO B650-S WiFi
- Be Quiet 750W power supply
- Standard tower CPU cooler.
Should I just go for the same motherboard again in hopes it doesn't give me trouble this time, or do you have any suggestions for something of equal quality? I'm looking for an upgrade if possible, but certainly no downgrades!

If you're looking for alternatives, consider the Asrock B650M Pro RS WiFi or the B850M Pro A WiFi. They’re both solid micro ATX boards that should serve you well, but make sure micro ATX is compatible with your case. Big benefit if you want to upgrade in the future!
Have you checked if you can use the warranty? Most parts come with at least a year of coverage. Might save you some cash!
I actually broke the 4th RAM slot while trying to troubleshoot, so I can’t wait on a warranty. I need to grab a new board tomorrow.
Isn’t micro ATX like a smaller version? I’m just getting into building my own PC.
