I'm looking to upgrade my CPU, but I've realized that to make a significant improvement, I also need a new motherboard. I'm not very knowledgeable about motherboard quality, so I'd really appreciate any recommendations. Here are my current specs:
- CPU: Intel Core i5-7600k 3.8GHz
- RAM: 2 sticks of 8GB DIMM 2400MHz
- Storage: One SSD and three HDDs
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
- Current Motherboard: ASRock Z270 Gaming K6

If you’re looking to upgrade your motherboard for a new CPU, remember that you might also need to get DDR5 RAM if you go with a newer board. Depending on the CPU you choose, that could affect your overall build cost. Just keep that in mind!
