Hey everyone! I'm in the market for a new 1440p gaming monitor for my PC setup. There are so many choices out there, and I'm not really sure where to begin. I'm hoping to find some recommendations for monitors that are at least 144Hz or higher and have great color quality. My budget is around $300. Just to give you some context, I'm running an RTX 5070 and an R7 5700X. Thanks for any suggestions!

I recently picked up an MSI G272QPF E2, which is a 165Hz monitor that can be overclocked to 180Hz (though that mode isn't super pretty). I got it for under $200, and I'm really pleased with the color performance. It's a solid IPS monitor and keeps things simple without any unnecessary bells and whistles.

What’s the issue with the 180Hz mode? My buddy uses it and hasn’t complained about anything. I'm considering recommending this to others too!
