I'm considering adding a second monitor to my setup. My main is a 4K display, but I want to avoid putting too much strain on my system or spending a ton of cash like I did on the 4K monitor. I'm specifically looking for good 27-inch 1440p monitors, ideally around $200. What options do you recommend?

You know, you can actually find some pretty decent 4K IPS displays that won’t cost you much more than a 1440p monitor these days. Plus, adding another monitor shouldn’t really stress your system unless you're running demanding applications on both. If you're set on 1440p, Dell has a couple of solid 27" models that won’t break the bank and perform well for general use.
Is there a big difference in picture quality between 1440p and 4K, though?
