I'm planning to build a budget gaming PC specifically for playing GTA VI. Here's the current configuration I have in mind:

- **Motherboard:** ASROCK B550 Phantom Gaming 4 (AM4, DDR4, HDMI, ATX)
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 5600 (3500/4400 MHz, AM4 socket)
- **RAM:** G.SKILL 16 GB (2x8 GB, DDR4, 3600 MHz, Ripjaws V)
- **SSD:** 500 GB Western Digital Black SN7100 (M.2 2280, PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe, TLC 3D NAND)
- **GPU:** XFX SPEEDSTER SWFT 210 AMD Radeon RX 7600 (8 GB GDDR6, 128-bit HDMI 3x DP)

If you have any suggestions on how to improve this build or what changes I should make, please let me know!

Your build is a bit of a guess since there aren’t any official requirements for GTA VI yet. But if it runs on a PS5, it should handle your setup just fine. That said, saving up for an AM5 DDR5 build might be the way to go when the game finally releases.

Honestly, if you’re only looking to play GTA VI, you might want to hold off for a year. Rockstar typically releases their PC versions a year after consoles, so your current build might not even be necessary right now.

We still have no clue about the actual hardware requirements for the game. It may be better to wait until RAM prices go down and new GPUs become available before diving into a build.

You could just grab a PS5 or Xbox for now and wait until the game hits PC. It's likely to take a while before it arrives, so you'll have time. Plus, you can always upgrade your PC later on!

I recommend buying a used console for the initial release because it usually takes ages for GTA games to come to PC. By the time it drops, you can evaluate your options and maybe build something with better hardware.
