Looking for Reliable 4K HDMI Extenders for Long Distances

I need to extend HDMI from a PC in a conference room to a display located about 120 feet away, using existing Cat6 cabling. The extender should support full 4K@60Hz with HDR and have low latency for presentations. I'm looking for something dependable that sysadmins recommend for office use. I've tried cheaper extenders before, but they often failed after a few months or couldn't handle the distance properly. Are there any specific 4K HDMI extenders you've successfully used over 100 feet of Cat6 that remained stable during long meetings?

Honestly, you might want to consider a mini PC that connects directly to your display instead of extending HDMI. It can make sharing presentations and doing video calls a lot easier without the hassle of wires. Plus, you can connect a USB webcam to it, which could be really useful for your conference room setup.

While it’s possible to use HDMI over Ethernet for this distance, it's often overkill and can get pricey. Any good HDMI AOC (Active Optical Cable) should work fine for 120 feet. Brands like Extron are known for quality, but if you’re looking for something more affordable, check out AverMedia or DVDO. You don’t need to spend too much if you're just extending HDMI for presentations.

I see your point about reliability, but have you considered that 120 feet is really not that far for standard HDMI cables? A decent long HDMI cable could do the trick without needing complex setups. If you must go with Ethernet, I’d suggest picking up a more budget-friendly option rather than something super high-end. Look for one with good reviews, and you should be fine!
