Hey everyone! Hope you're all doing well. I'm seeking advice on tools or strategies for managing multiple tenants efficiently. My organization is aggressively growing through mergers and acquisitions, and after our first acquisition last year, we had to integrate numerous IT systems. While we've done a decent job overall, we're facing challenges with our current setup.
We're both using Entra, but it's cumbersome as we manage the tenants separately, leading to a lot of duplicated efforts in policies and configurations. We have cross-tenant sync and collaboration set up, which helps with user access to business apps, but as we continue to acquire more companies, managing multiple identity solutions is becoming a headache.
So, I'd love to hear about what other organizations are doing about this, or if there are any reliable tools out there that simplify the management of objects and devices without constantly needing to switch tenants or browsers. Thanks in advance, looking forward to your insights!

We’re also managing multiple tenants after a few acquisitions. Cross-tenant sync makes life easier, but keeping everything aligned can be tough. We’re checking out Entra ID’s cross-tenant management features, but the process feels a bit manual right now. Lighthouse is okay for visibility, but it doesn't dive deep into policy management yet. Looking to learn more about it!
Thanks for your input! I’ll definitely explore those options further.
Check out AutoMonX sensor pack for Azure. It offers a single dashboard for monitoring across multiple tenants, which can save you a ton of time.
In a similar situation here, managing five tenants. MTO config was a game changer for user collaboration. However, I haven't found a solid solution for managing multiple tenants. I've heard about CIPP and Inforcer frequently in other discussions.
For Azure users, I'd definitely suggest checking out Azure Lighthouse. It provides a good way to manage services across multiple tenants without too much hassle. Also, if you're using Microsoft 365, 365 Lighthouse might be worth looking into as well.
You might want to try Nerdio for Enterprise! I work at an MSP, and we use their version, which helps sync policies across various customers. It’s become really handy for managing group templates and AVD, especially in extensive Azure or 365 environments.
Totally agree! Lighthouse handles access control well, but the data management side is lacking.
