Hey everyone! I'm relatively new to building and customizing PCs, and I've got an older setup from Umart that I'm looking to upgrade in a budget-friendly way. Specifically, I'm interested in getting more RAM and a new GPU, with a total budget under $600 (cheaper is even better!). I mainly play League of Legends and some RTS games.
Here are my current specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 2200G with Radeon Vega Graphics at 3.50 GHz
- Installed RAM: 8.00 GB
- Storage: 466 GB SSD (Samsung SSD 860 EVO 500GB)
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (4 GB)
- System Type: 64-bit, x64-based processor
- Motherboard: ASUS Prime B450M K
If you need any more info, just let me know. Thanks in advance for your advice!

You might want to consider upgrading to a Ryzen 5600X, 5700X, or even a 5800XT if your budget stretches that far. Aim for at least 16GB of RAM, and for the GPU, look at options like the 3060 12GB or 3060 Ti, or even the 6750XT if possible.
You're at a point where a full rebuild might be considered. Depending on how many RAM slots you have, I'd recommend looking into getting a 3070 GPU and increasing your RAM to 32GB. A Ryzen 5600 or 5500X3D would be great additions too if your budget allows. A rough estimate would put the 3070 around $200 and the CPU in the $140-180 range, which will take up most of your budget. Also, check out Newegg for bundles; I recently saw a solid deal there! Just keep in mind that you're likely going to need a new PSU as well.
Thanks for the insight! I should mention I'm in Australia, so that's more like 400 USD. I'll keep an eye out for deals.
Honestly, I'd suggest checking out used PCs on Marketplace. You can often find better specs than what you've got. For $600, you might be able to snag something with a 4060, which would be an upgrade all around!

Thanks for the suggestions!
