I'm trying to choose a 360mm AIO cooler for my build and I've got some specific requirements. I prefer one that features a good screen and doesn't hog too much CPU power. I've heard that Lian Li's software is pretty efficient with that. Performance-wise, I'm hoping to find something that either matches or surpasses the Arctic Liquid Freezer III, but I'm flexible with pricing. Here are my main options so far:
- ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III PRO
- ASUS Ryujin III
- TRYX Panorama (the original, non-RGB version)
- Thermalright Grand Vision
For context, my current build consists of an AMD 9950x3D CPU, Phanteks D30 120mm fans, a Gigabyte Aorus Master Ice GPU, a Lian Li EVO XL case, and a Lian Li Edge 1300 Platinum PSU.

Since you're interested in aesthetics, the ASUS Ryujin III is a great choice. It offers solid performance and has a nice screen. If you're willing to wait, the upcoming Ryujin IV might be worth it too!
I’ve installed the Ryujin III before. On my dad’s Intel build, it idled great! Haven't tested on AMD yet, though.
If you’re looking for performance and noise levels, the Lian Li Galahad Lite II is a strong contender and even beats the Arctic Freezer III under noise-normalized testing. Definitely worth checking out!
Haven't heard of the Lite version before, but I'll look it up now!
That sounds like a solid recommendation! Thanks for the tip.
For overall cooling, I'd still lean towards the Arctic LF3. It's not all about the lowest temperatures; it balances well with performance and reliability.
Asetek's Gen 8 coolers are top-tier. Consider the Tryx Panorama or the ASUS Ryujin III since they’re both based on Asetek technology. Just keep an eye out for build quality to avoid any potential leaks down the road!
Thanks for the info! It’s been ages since my last build, so I’m trying to catch up with the latest tech.
Does that mean if they have the same pump, the ASUS Ryujin III and TRYX Panorama could perform similarly?
I’d say the Lian Li Galahad II Trinity is at the top when it comes to performance. The Arctic Freezer III is fantastic for noise-to-performance ratio, but the Lian Li software is better than most out there. With your 9950x3D, CPU usage shouldn't be a concern at all!
The Arctic LF3 Pro, Cooler Master Atmos Stealth, and Be Quiet Silent Loop 3 are all great options too. Just pick based on what you prefer in features and aesthetics!
I've heard about the Ryujin performing slightly better than the Arctic Freezer III. Any thoughts on that?
