Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a PC case that is super practical for tinkering. I'm mainly interested in having easy access to a few features: 3.5-inch drive bays, 2.5-inch drive bays (if available), and spaces for disc drives. I also want the power supply to be easy to reach. Honestly, I'm not concerned about cable management, aesthetics, or any niche features—just functionality. My budget is around 200 GBP or 270 USD, so I'm hoping to find something good. Any suggestions or tips? Feel free to ask if you need more info!

Have you considered a NAS case? Since you're focused on easily tinkering with your drives, it might be a good fit. I do have to ask, though—why are you needing to remove drives so often?
Sounds like you really put your drives through the wringer! I get the need for versatility.
Considering your needs, a test bench might be ideal. It allows for easy access when connecting and disconnecting components. Check out this [Primochill unit I found](https://www.primochill.com/products/praxis-wetbench?srsltid=AfmBOorFxg33BoT30hF8PUxGawvns2XKqAUh8f_zOYUs4LKBDTHM5mZw); it has two 5.25-inch bays and four HDD/SSD slots. Perfect for a tinkerer like you!
I often deal with video editing and need to check drives from various systems, plus I buy used or faulty drives frequently. It's all about testing and troubleshooting for me!
