Looking for the Best Monitor for Gaming and Streaming

Hey everyone! I'm planning to upgrade my PC monitor and could use some advice. My budget is between $700 to $800, and I'm aiming for a monitor that's around 24 to 27 inches. It's important that it's great for competitive FPS gaming and also suitable for some occasional streaming. I'm not a fan of curved monitors, so I'd prefer something flat. Below are my PC specs for reference:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor
- CPU cooler: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 360 56.3 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
- Motherboard: MSI MAG X670E TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard
- Memory: G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory
- Video card: MSI VENTUS 3X OC GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 16 GB Video Card
- Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive

Any recommendations? Thanks a bunch!

If you're looking for the best performance, definitely consider an OLED or QD-OLED monitor with a refresh rate of 240Hz or 360Hz. They offer the lowest input lag, which is crucial for FPS games. However, if you're really keen on high refresh rates, keep an eye out for monitors that go beyond 480Hz at 1080p.

Thanks for the suggestion! What do you think about the ASUS ROG Strix 27” 1440P OLED Gaming Monitor (XG27AQDMG)? Would it be a good fit?
