I'm in search of the best new or refurbished CPU that costs less than $120 for my computer build. Just to clarify, I'm not interested in buying used parts. I plan to use this CPU primarily for gaming and multitasking. I'm not worried about the total budget since this is an upgrade for my existing setup.

It really depends on what you'll use the CPU for. Are you focusing more on gaming or do you need it for heavy multitasking?
When considering a CPU, it's important to look at the overall platform cost—CPU, motherboard, and memory together. It helps to know what you want to achieve with your system, your total budget, and where you're located. Without those details, it's tough to give specific advice.
I'm based in the USA and mainly looking at this for gaming and multitasking. I already have the budget covered since this is an upgrade!
What kind of motherboard are you pairing it with? I think knowing that would help narrow down the options.
I have two options: an ASRock B550M-HDV Micro ATX and an ASRock A520M-HDV AM4 AMD.
I'm planning on using it for both gaming and multitasking.
