Hey everyone! I'm trying to put together a solid price-to-performance PC build for under 2000 AUD, specifically using an AM4 setup since I've noticed RAM prices are on the rise. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the best components to choose for gaming, and if there are any key upgrades I should consider. Thanks!

I checked out your build and it looks good! If you're aiming for better performance in gaming, consider downgrading the CPU a bit and putting that budget toward a more powerful GPU. The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT is a great option for higher resolutions and has 16GB of memory that will really help with 1440p or even 4K gaming. The RTX 5060 Ti you mentioned is more mid-range, which might hold you back a little.

Thanks for the suggestion! I might reduce my SSD budget by $20 to free up some cash for a better CPU too, especially since I'm a Minecraft player and it’s more CPU-intensive.

Just a heads up, it’s actually not the 9070 XT but the regular 9070! But still a good choice.

What are you planning to use the PC for? If it's gaming, then definitely prioritize the GPU in your budget. It's best to invest in a good graphics card and maybe save on other parts. Given that AM4 parts can be pricey in Australia, consider looking for used components or bundles where you can get a motherboard and CPU together.

I’m planning to buy an open tray version of the CPU. Is the Jonsbo CR-3000E cooler a good option?
