Hey everyone! I'm just starting my coding journey and I've decided to dive into Python. I want to get a few projects under my belt before heading off to college. Can anyone recommend a solid learning roadmap or the best resources to use? Also, I heard about some resources in the programming hangout server—are those worth checking out?

You should definitely check out some wikis, especially the one on r/learnpython, as they have a ton of great resources to help beginners. Also, since you might be new to programming altogether, don’t forget to peek into r/learnprogramming too. Just remember to enjoy the process—it's a fun adventure ahead, even if it can get a bit pesky sometimes!

You might like using py.ninja! It's an interactive platform that creates a real coding environment complete with a code editor and terminal. It also has plenty of coding challenges to get you hands-on. Plus, there's an AI assistant to help you out—very useful when you hit a snag! If you're exploring different tools, it could be worth trying out! Good luck!
