Looking for the Lowest Power PCIe GPU for Windows 10

I'm on the hunt for a discrete GPU, either new or used, that meets some specific criteria. First, I need a half-height GPU that's fully compatible with Windows 10, and it should use as little power as possible just to drive a display. Performance isn't a concern at all.

Here's the backstory: I have a MinusForum PC that's serving as a server, which has a decent Ryzen processor. Unfortunately, the integrated GPU is broken, and I'm currently using a GPU connected through the NVME slot, powered by a 12V supply I tapped from a fan header. This setup works, but after a recent Windows update, my ancient ATI Radeon GPU's driver stopped allowing the PC to sleep.

I'm considering an Nvidia GT210, but I'd really prefer something that consumes even less power to avoid stressing the motherboard's fan header too much.

Is there a reason you can't use a GPU like the 1650 under 75W with a PCIe slot, or are there simply no PCIe slots available? Also, considering how much you're putting into this mini PC, have you looked into getting a server-grade machine instead? They can sometimes be cheaper than a new GPU.

There are no PCIe slots in this setup. I'm trying to keep costs down, hoping to find a cheap GPU that Windows 10 supports.

Consider the Intel Arc A310; it only uses about 30W, which could be a good fit for your requirements.

Have you thought about the GTX 1650 Low Profile? It's slot powered and relatively low profile, but keep in mind it's rated for 75 watts, which might be too much for your needs.

Yeah, 75 watts is a no-go for me. I'm trying to keep it as low as possible.

I would recommend looking into the HD 5450. It's a card I often keep for testing; it draws even less power, with a TDP of just 19W compared to the GT210's 31W.

I’m currently using a Radeon HD8490; the driver issues are the problem. Since the 5450 is so old, does it have compatibility issues too? I'm willing to try it out.
