Hey everyone! I'm diving into a new PC build and have some components I'd like to reuse, such as two PCI4 M.2 drives. However, since I'm upgrading to an AM5 setup, I'll need most new parts. I've put together a list of components I'm considering, and I'd really appreciate any advice on how to optimize this build! Check out my list here: [link].

I recommend going with an 850W power supply instead of the one you picked; it's only a few bucks more and will give you better future-proofing. Also, consider sticking with a Gen 4 drive instead of going for Gen 5 since Gen 4 will still perform more than adequately for your needs. Lastly, an AIO cooler could be a good upgrade, not just for cooling but also for aesthetics since they tend to look really sharp.

Does an AIO in the same price range really offer better performance and efficiency though?

Thanks for the tips! I'll definitely look into that.

Honestly, there's no need to overspend on the CPU if you're pairing it with that GPU. You could either invest in a faster GPU or consider downgrading to the 7800X3D, which might save you some cash to put towards a better GPU like an RTX 5070 Ti. Also, definitely go for that 850W PSU as mentioned earlier! Overall, looks great, have fun with your build!

I see what you mean. I’m looking at how to balance CPU and GPU power better for my setup.
