I'm visually impaired and accidentally bought an ebook that doesn't have an audiobook version available. I want to make it more accessible for myself, sort of like having an audiobook experience. My screen reader requires me to turn pages manually, which is frustrating since I could just use large fonts that are easier for me to read. My goal is to convert screenshots of the book into plain text, so I can use my text-to-speech software to read it continuously, similar to an audiobook. However, I ran into issues with Google Gemini not transcribing the text, even after confirming it's fair use for my situation. Are there any free or affordable tools I can use to get a plain-text version from a series of book page screenshots?

If your ebook software allows printing, try printing it to a PDF. That could then be fed into reading software. Just a thought!

Unfortunately, the Kindle Fire, the Windows Kindle app, and the Amazon reading page don't support saving more than one page at a time. If I have to do it one page at a time, I might as well read the good old-fashioned way. Thanks for the suggestion though!
