Hey everyone! I'm thinking it's time for an upgrade since my current setup isn't quite cutting it anymore. My budget is around $2,000, but I'm feeling a bit lost with what hardware is currently good. I typically play at 1080p, but I really care about getting high frame rates.
Here's what I've got right now:
- Lian Li O11 case
- Arctic Liquid Freezer 2 cooler
- 850W PSU
- Intel i9 9900k processor
- Nvidia GeForce 2080 Ti graphics card
- G.Skill DDR4 3600 (2x16GB)
Any suggestions you all have would be hugely appreciated!

With a budget of around $2,000, you could definitely get your hands on a 7900 XT or 5070 Ti paired with a Ryzen 9 7950X3. Those options are aimed more for 1440p gaming though, not strictly 1080p.
Honestly, it might be time to consider a whole new build. If you're focused on achieving maximum FPS at 1080p, I'd recommend going for a Ryzen 9 7950X3D for the CPU and getting 16GB of DDR5 RAM at 6000 MHz CL30. Check out this build I found: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jyG8fd

Is everything totally unusable with your current setup? I figured the case still has plenty of room for upgrades and great airflow!
