Hey everyone! I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to build a decent mid-range gaming PC with a budget of €700. I'm not aiming for the highest frame rates or ultra settings; I just want to comfortably run games like Rust, Rainbow Six Siege, and Escape from Tarkov. What parts would you recommend to keep the total costs within my budget?

Consider the Arc B570 along with a DDR4 CPU and motherboard that supports RBAR. That should run you around $500. Just don’t skimp on the power supply!

You can potentially build a Ryzen 5 3600 with an RTX 3060 Ti for about €350 if you shop the used market. However, I've calculated that such a build might actually cost closer to €450-€500.

For a budget like this, I’d suggest going with DDR4 components. You can check out CPUs like the Ryzen 5 5600 or Intel i3/i5 from the 11th or 12th generation. Make sure to have at least 16 GB of RAM. I've been really happy with my Asrock A520M Pro4 motherboard. As for GPUs, something like the RX 6600 XT or RX 7600 would be solid choices.

Recently, I upgraded my old rig with a Ryzen 5600G, a GTX 1080, and 16 GB of RAM. I switched the CPU to a 5700X, grabbed a new PSU, and a second-hand 3070 Ti, plus a cooling unit for the CPU. All of that came to less than €500, and it's performing great for my gaming needs!

If you're looking for brand new parts, it’s tough to stick under €700. You might have more luck with used items. Look for something like a Ryzen 5 5600 or 5700, 32 GB of RAM, and a GPU like the 6600 XT or RTX 3060. It can fit within your price point. Just a heads up, if you want to go new, I wouldn't recommend AM5 since that will push you over budget.
