I'm planning to pass down my current PC to my son and build myself a new one. I mainly play World of Warcraft and have a 1440p monitor, but I'm not too savvy on the latest PC parts. I've been looking at CPUs like the Ryzen 7 9700X, 7800X3D, or 9800X3D, and for the GPU, I'm considering either a 9060XT or possibly a 9070XT if I can cut costs elsewhere. I'm unsure about the best combo that won't bottleneck either the CPU or GPU, and I want to keep the total cost under $1500.

I recommend looking at this build: AMD 9600X, 32GB RAM, and a simple 1TB SSD for around $1427. The 9060XT is also a great choice for WoW and other games. It's powerful yet won't break the bank. Plus, you get a solid motherboard that can handle future upgrades! Here's the link: [PCPartPicker Build](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WGq3tC)
You can definitely put together a solid build with a 9060XT. Here’s a complete setup I found:
- AMD Ryzen 5 9600X CPU
- 32GB RAM
- 1TB SSD
- 9060XT GPU
- Total price is about $1448.59. This setup should run WoW beautifully. Here's a full parts list: [PCPartPicker Setup](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/t3b8MF)
After two decades of playing WoW, I've found that a fast SSD makes a massive difference in loading times and character switching. Currently, I'm running a Ryzen 5600X with 16GB RAM and it's been perfect for my needs. You might want to check Logical Increments for build guidelines specifically catered to WoW. They have different tiers of recommendations that could be really helpful!
If you're near a Microcenter, they have good deals on pre-built systems. I found a build with a 5060ti for $1,500 that could be worth checking out.
I live about an hour away, but I might check it out if I decide to go that route.

Looks like a great deal! If you're willing to look for a few cheaper alternatives, there's also a similar build that comes in under $1500 with a 9070XT.
