Looking to Build My Dream PC—Need Help with Parts

Hey everyone! I've saved up a significant amount of money and I'm looking to build a top-notch PC. I'm not super knowledgeable about PC components, but I'm eager to learn. My goal is to create a powerful machine that won't need upgrades for a long time. Also, I'm thinking of getting a new monitor. I've been using my current PC for six years, and it's nothing special. I'll primarily use this new setup for gaming and music production, but I'd like it to be versatile enough for other tasks as well. Money isn't really an issue—I'm willing to spend over $10k if needed for something that's going to last me a while.

You might want to consider posting your specific needs on forums like r/buildapcforme for tailored advice. Depending on your use case, for gaming, a Ryzen 7 9800X3D paired with an RTX 5090 can be great and set you back about $5000. If you want something more versatile for tasks like music production or AI work, you could go over $10,000. Realistically, though, $5000 can already get you an excellent PC!

Thanks! I'm really looking for an all-rounder. I want it to be mainly for gaming and music production but with great performance for everything else too.

To really help you out, we need to clarify your budget and whether that includes monitor and peripherals. Right now, components can get pretty pricey, especially with GPUs hitting around $3000. Keep in mind, while spending big can get you amazing specs, performance improves over time, so don’t blow it all at once expecting it to last forever!
