I've been wanting a PC for a while now. I never thought I'd consider building one, but now that I'm managing my own money, I realize I might want to try it out. The main game I want to run is modded Minecraft, along with some other games. The problem is, I have no clue where to start—I'm really inexperienced with PC parts! I'd like to save money, and I've seen some options online, but the information is overwhelming. I'm thinking about a budget around $1,000, but I'm open to going a bit higher if necessary. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You might want to consider going for a prebuilt system. They often save you money and you can always upgrade parts later. Prices for components like RAM can be quite high right now, so it can be easier to stick with a prebuilt. Check out websites like Best Buy or New Egg for deals.
As for modded Minecraft, make sure to look for a GPU with at least 8GB of VRAM—12-16GB would be even better but might push your budget a bit. I found a couple of options: one for $999 and another for $1,200 that might fit your needs. Just make sure to check what's available in your area! Happy shopping!
Thanks for the suggestions!
If you’re mainly playing modded Minecraft, think about looking for used systems or parts. If you’re comfortable with that route, you can get a decent setup for around $800 on a DDR4 AM4 platform with at least a GTX 3060. Otherwise, you might consider converting a used workstation into a gaming PC—usually, you just need a good GPU and power supply.
Also, check the clearance section at Best Buy for some good deals, as long as the items work properly. You might score a good system without breaking the bank!
Where can I find used systems or parts?

I think the first one is a decent choice for the price, but the $1200 one isn't really worth it.
