Looking to Buy a Gaming PC for My SO but Need Some Guidance

I'm trying to surprise my significant other with a birthday gift, but I'm totally out of my depth when it comes to gaming PCs. He currently has a 10-year-old setup that struggles with many of his Steam games. I'm planning to spend around $2,500 on something that will last at least 5 years. I found this PC model—it's the Legion Tower 7i Gen 8 from Lenovo—would this be a good choice?

That PC will definitely perform well, but if your SO is really into gaming, you might want to consider letting him in on the gift and building it together. A lot of gamers find that choosing and putting together the parts is part of the fun!

I'm all for surprises, but just so you know, some people really don’t mind being part of the decision. It can make the whole gift experience even better!
