I'm facing some issues with my PC, particularly with my M.2 NVMe and the 2080 Ti overheating. I'm considering an upgrade, but I want something that gives me a solid performance boost without breaking the bank—my budget is around 700 euros. I'm feeling a bit lost trying to figure out these newer graphics cards since the 30 series came out. Benchmark websites seem to favor one brand over another, which isn't helping. Also, my main use for the PC is gaming, but I also dabble in 3D modeling and Unreal Engine occasionally. I have a Ryzen CPU, which I know could be a bottleneck until I upgrade that too. What do you recommend?

The 5070 is decent, although the 5060 Ti is a bit better, but not by much. If you're comfortable going used, you could look into the 30 series GPUs as they might fit your needs better. Just be aware that switching to AMD would need you to do some extra work, but it might be worth checking out the 9070 if you can find one!
Given your current setup, an RX 9070 or 9070XT is a solid pick. Stretching your budget a bit might get you an RTX 5070 Ti, which is another option worth considering. Just make sure to check availability since it's kind of a hot market right now.
Don't rush to sell your 2080 Ti just yet! Keep it as a backup. I upgraded to a 7900XTX from the 2080 Ti and I've been really happy with it. I'd recommend looking into the 9070XT, 7900XTX, or even the 5070Ti, but keep an eye on prices—they can get a bit steep. If you're doing 3D modeling, your choice between AMD and Nvidia could really depend on your specific needs.
I'm definitely planning to hold onto it! I think I can get a 9070XT for about 750 euros. I’m just unsure about where the prices are headed in the next few weeks. Nvidia was great for 3D modeling when I bought it, but I wonder if AMD has caught up.
I’d hold off on buying a 5070 for now. Prices might settle down in a month or two, especially with the chaos in the market.
