I'm considering an upgrade from my Ryzen 5 5500. I want to stick with the AM4 socket unless it's really worth getting a new motherboard, but I'm also on a budget. I've been trying to find a good deal on the Ryzen 5 5600, but it's hard to find even the base version in stock here in Canada. I also have an older motherboard (Biostar TB250-BTC) with an LGA1151 socket, but that would mean losing half of my RAM slots and other downgrades. Any advice would be appreciated!

You might want to check out the 5500X3D on AliExpress. It's a decent upgrade option but make sure it fits your setup!
I've heard the 5800X3D might be getting re-released due to RAM shortages – that would be a significant upgrade! Honestly, the 5600 isn't going to give you much of a boost compared to what you already have.
