Looking to Upgrade My CPU to Match My New GPU

I've recently upgraded to an Intel Core i9-10900k CPU, paired with a new 5070Ti GPU and a 1000w power supply. My CPU tends to bottleneck during certain tasks, especially after making these upgrades. I'm looking for suggestions on a new CPU that can handle this extra power efficiently. Any recommendations?

What games are you seeing the bottleneck in? Sometimes at higher resolutions like 1440p or 4K, the GPU will hog most of the work before the CPU gets overwhelmed. But it does sound like your current setup might need planning for a full-scale upgrade if you're consistently hitting 100% CPU usage.

Thanks for the insight! In games like Cyberpunk 2077, I notice the CPU maxing out while the GPU is underutilized.

Honestly, you might want to consider sticking with your current CPU for now. If you upgrade, you'll end up needing a new motherboard, RAM, and possibly a CPU cooler too. Depending on your needs, the best move could be to wait until you decide to make a more comprehensive upgrade later on.
