I'm currently using an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X for my gaming PC, but I feel like it's bottlenecking some of my games due to its 12 cores. I'm wondering if there's a better CPU option I should consider for an upgrade. What do you all recommend?

Honestly, I don't think the 12 cores are the issue here. The Ryzen 9 7900X is still a solid CPU and should keep up with virtually any GPU you pair it with. What kind of performance problems are you actually experiencing? If it's specifically with games like Helldivers 2, we might need to look at other factors instead of just the CPU.
In Helldivers 2, I'm getting around 72 FPS, but the in-game display doesn't seem to change even when I adjust the graphics settings. It's confusing!
