Looking to Upgrade My GPU: Need Some Advice!

Hey folks! I'm pretty new to all this and recently got a PC from a friend for a steal, but my knowledge about upgrades is almost non-existent. Currently, I've got a GTX 1060 3GB, paired with an i5 8400 processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and I think a 420w power supply. My motherboard is an MS-7A61 Ver 1.3. I'm looking to upgrade my GPU but have no clue about what's a good budget option or which GPUs would even work with my setup. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your help!

If you're thinking of a GPU upgrade, it's a good idea to also consider upgrading your power supply (PSU). The RX 6600 or RX 7600 are great budget options and should work well with your system! Just make sure your PSU can handle the new GPU.

Thanks for the suggestion! What's a reasonable wattage for the PSU? I want to make sure I'm covered.
