Looking to Upgrade My GPU – What Should I Choose?

Good morning, everyone! I'm considering upgrading my GPU. Right now, I have an RTX 3060 Ti, but I'm eyeing the 5000 series. Unfortunately, in my country, prices are quite high. For instance, the 5070 is about USD 1100, while the 5060 Ti 16GB is around USD 850. If pricing were better, I would go for the 5070 Ti, but with a price tag of around USD 1600, that's a bit too steep. I mainly game at 1080p since my monitor isn't 2K, but I'd like something that will hold up well as new games come out. Do you think the RTX 5070 12GB is a solid upgrade, or should I opt for the 5060 Ti 16GB for more video memory instead?

Have you considered whether you really need an Nvidia GPU? If you can, check out the performance and pricing for the RX 9070XT as an alternative.

I prefer Nvidia for the RTX features and DLSS, but I'm open to other options. I've always liked AMD, but after experiencing RTX, I’m hesitant to switch back unless AMD steps up their game.
