I need some advice on upgrading my 10-year-old PC for playing Crimson Desert. My current setup includes a GTX 1060 6 GB GPU, Ryzen 5 1600x CPU, 16 GB of DDR3 RAM, and I'm using an ASUS PRIME B350-PLUS motherboard with a 550W power supply. While it handles most games at 1080p on mid-high settings, Crimson Desert runs at a disappointing 20 FPS, which is frustrating! I can't afford to build a new PC from scratch, but I'm considering swapping out the CPU, GPU, and RAM. What's the best budget-friendly upgrade path for achieving 1080p at high settings with around 60 FPS? I'm partial to NVIDIA cards for the ray tracing and DLSS capabilities but I'm open to AMD options if they offer better performance for the price. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

If you prefer AMD, consider the Arc B580 12GB for $290. Also, upgrading to 16GB of DDR4 RAM will cost about $120, and you could look for an MSI B550M PRO VDH or any B550M motherboard for roughly $100. Overall, upgrading everything might set you back about $680, but if that’s too steep, just upgrading your GPU could be a good start!
