Hey everyone! I'm planning to upgrade my PC as a birthday gift to myself. Here are my current specs:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X
- **GPU**: GIGABYTE NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6
- **Motherboard**: MSI B550 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI
- **RAM**: CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO SL 32GB DDR4 3600MHz
- **Storage**: Samsung 870 EVO 500GB SSD
- **PSU**: CORSAIR CX750M 750W
- **Case**: NZXT H5 Flow Compact
- **Monitor**: Samsung Odyssey G40 240Hz

Given these specs, I'd love your advice on what I should upgrade first! Thanks!

Your CPU is amazing, but the GPU is a bottleneck now, especially for gaming. If you're into intensive tasks, getting a more powerful GPU like the 9060 XT or 9070 would be the way to go. For storage, I suggest getting a 1TB SSD or more depending on your needs. Just be mindful of the balance with your CPU, as it might throttle higher-end GPUs under certain conditions.

Honestly, your best bet for an upgrade is a new GPU. The RTX 3060 isn't cutting it for higher resolutions anymore. If you can swing it, look into something like a 9060 XT or any of the newer GPUs. Also, I’d recommend picking up a larger NVMe SSD since your current 500GB is pretty small these days. What's your budget for the upgrade?

I agree with the GPU suggestion. With your Ryzen 9, you should definitely invest in a higher-end graphics card to match its power. A good 1TB or 2TB SSD would also help if you're into storage-heavy tasks like video editing or gaming. Just make sure your budget allows for a solid GPU upgrade!

Thanks for the advice! I'm looking to spend around $1500 for the upgrades.

Definitely push for a new GPU! A 9060 XT or something in that range would provide huge benefits. Your CPU can handle it with no issue. Also, don't forget about storage if you're working with video or larger files; an upgrade there will make a big difference.
