Hey everyone! I'm pretty clueless when it comes to computers, but I'm interested in upgrading my current setup. Here are my specs: CPU is an Intel Core i3-8100, GPU is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, motherboard is a Gigabyte B360M DS3H, I've got 24GB of RAM, and my PSU is a Xilence 500W. I really need some advice on what to upgrade first or if I should go for a whole new build instead. Thanks in advance for your help!

Before making any upgrades, what's your budget looking like? That’ll really help narrow down the best options for you!

I recommend starting with the GPU since that's the component that will impact your gaming performance the most. If your budget allows, a GPU like the RTX 4060 would be a great choice, or you could look at something like a 3060 12GB for a good price-to-performance ratio.

Honestly, if you're looking for a significant upgrade, it might be better to save up and build a completely new PC. Your current parts are a bit out of date, and a new build could give you a much better performance boost.

If you mostly do light tasks, consider upgrading your CPU to an Intel i5-9400F while keeping your current RAM and motherboard. That could give you a nice performance bump without breaking the bank. Otherwise, selling your current setup for a new one depends a lot on your budget.
