Looking to Upgrade to a Desktop for Gaming – Need Advice on My Parts List

Hey everyone! I'm making the switch from laptop gaming to desktop gaming because my laptop just isn't cutting it anymore—issues with the hinge, battery life, and heat really make it less enjoyable. I'm on a budget and looking for something that will last me a while. Here are the parts I'm considering:

- MSI MAG Forge M100A case
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600T processor (not sure if it comes with a heatsink)
- ASRock Intel Arc B580 Challenger 12GB graphics card
- MSI A520M-A Pro Micro-ATX motherboard
- MSI MAG A650BN power supply
- Corsair RAM
- I already have 2 NVMe Gen 3 SSDs (1TB each) and 2 SATA SSDs (960GB each).
- I also got some PTM7950 and Arctic thermal paste.

What else do I need to consider adding? Besides the case and some cables, am I missing anything? Are the parts I've picked good enough, or should I think about upgrading any of them? Also, I prefer a case that doesn't have a glass side.

Thanks for taking the time to check this out! I'm open to any advice you have.

It looks like you're on the right track, but don't forget about a power supply! You'll definitely need that to power up your setup. You mentioned MSI MAG A650BN—sounds like a solid choice to me. Just make sure it has enough wattage for your system, especially for the graphics card.

As for other components, consider a CPU cooler if the Ryzen doesn't come with one. A good cooler can help keep temperatures down while you're gaming. And if you haven't already, think about getting a decent case fan or two for better airflow, especially since you're looking for a case without glass.

Yeah, the case fans are super important, especially for keeping everything cool without the glass panel to help visually monitor it. I’d definitely recommend adding at least one or two!
