I purchased a MacBook Air M2 in October 2022, and out of nowhere, it has stopped working. It's currently stuck in a restart loop, and I tried the restore option at the Apple Store, but that didn't help. They've quoted me 630€ for a repair. Before I go down that route, is there anything else I can try? Has anyone else experienced this issue? Also, just to clarify, I don't think the laptop got wet.

Just a heads up, the storage in M-series Macs is actually integrated into the chip, so there’s no separate hard drive. If the restore didn’t work, they’ll likely need to replace the logic board. If you had AppleCare or were still under warranty, that could’ve been covered for free. But since you're out of warranty, you're facing that hefty repair bill. That stinks!

I wish I had AppleCare. I'm about 10 months past the warranty... Is there any chance I can buy the logic board separately for less than what Apple charges?
