Managing Calls and Messages Between Work and Personal iPhones

I recently switched from Android to an iPhone and also got an iPhone for work. I'm used to handling two phones but this is my first time juggling two iPhones. I've been getting random calls and messages for work during nights and weekends, and I'd prefer to only use my personal phone during those times. The work phone has call forwarding capability, so I want to know if I can set a schedule for calls to forward to my personal number after work hours. I'm also concerned about separating my personal messages from work-related ones, especially since my work phone might be monitored. Any tips or good guides on setting this up? Both phones are iPhone 16 pros with the latest software.

You can definitely set up call forwarding on your work iPhone. Look for the 'Call Forwarding' option in the settings under Phone and you should be able to schedule it for after work hours. As for messages, unless you have a special app for work that combines both accounts, your personal texts should stay private. Just be cautious about logging into your work accounts on the work phone; keep it separate to avoid mixing personal and work messages. You should be all set!

Yeah, just remember, if your work phone has MDM, they might be able to see some activity, so keep your personal stuff off that device as much as you can!

There's a feature called Focus which can help you manage notifications. You can set it to mute notifications from your work phone during off-hours. Go into Settings > Focus and customize it to limit work distractions at night. Just a heads-up: if you signed into your work iPhone with a company account, your employer might monitor it, so careful with what you share! Turning it off could be a simple solution too.

That's a good idea! I hadn't thought about using Focus to reduce work calls at home. I'll give that a try along with call forwarding.
