Maxing Out RAM: Can I Get 128GB to Work with Ryzen 9590X?

I'm working with a Ryzen 9590X and an X870E Proart motherboard, and I've got two packs of Kingston Fury 64GB CL32 RAM. While I can run 64GB at the rated speed just fine, adding another 64GB to hit 128GB doesn't seem to work—it won't post. Is it feasible to run the RAM at a lower speed for stability, or would that compromise performance too much to be worthwhile?

Have you checked if Expo is enabled? Sometimes that setting helps with stability when running high-capacity builds. Just a thought!

I tried enabling it, but that caused more issues with posting.

Keep in mind that using two sticks per channel can reduce signal integrity, which impacts your maximum frequency. While you might get somewhere around DDR4 5200-5600 with 128GB, hitting 6000+ is probably unrealistic. By the way, what speed are you trying to achieve?

The RAM is rated for 6400, but I haven't manually adjusted the clock settings yet. I'm hoping to get this sorted out, but it's frustrating watching it fail during training!
