I've been having issues with my mouse settings during games. It feels like there's mouse acceleration enabled and I'm experiencing lag. I've tried adjusting the DPI and sensitivity settings, and I even did a Windows restore, but nothing seems to help. This problem started after I closed a menu while playing the remake of Dead Space. Any ideas on how to fix this?

It might be worth uninstalling any mouse software like Logitech or Razer. Sometimes, those can interfere with settings. If you just added Synapse after the problem started, it might not be the solution you need.
Make sure to check the in-game settings as well. Sometimes there's an option for mouse acceleration that could be toggled. It doesn't hurt to double-check those settings too.
Is your mouse from a specific brand? Knowing if it's the original version or the remake could help. Sometimes, certain updates or versions can cause issues like this.
