My 2018 MacBook Pro Seems Bricked—What Can I Do?

I recently bought a MacBook Pro from eBay, but I think I've hit a major snag. Initially, it was bootlooping, and I've tried a bunch of online guides, like resetting the NVRAM, but now I'm stuck in internet recovery. I keep seeing the error -2003f pop up. Plus, I can't boot from a USB stick because of this T2 security chip. Whenever I try to change the boot options, it claims no admin profile is found. Is there any way to resolve this? Any help would be appreciated!

The error -2003f usually means your internet connection to Apple’s servers is acting up. Make sure your Wi-Fi is stable; sometimes even a strong signal can be deceiving!

That's good to know! I’m right next to a strong access point, so I hope that’s not the issue. Maybe I need to try connecting directly with an Ethernet cable?

Hey, you might want to check eBay’s buyer protection. If the Mac isn’t working, they could refund you if it’s within the warranty timeframe.

Unfortunately, I bought it from Kleinanzeigen, a German platform, so there's no buyer protection there.
