I've been using my ASUS ROG Zephyrus since 2021, and it just shut off on me without any warning. I played around with it for a bit, unplugging it and plugging it back in, and it managed to power on a couple of times. However, it only lasted a minute or two before shutting down again. Now, when I try to turn it back on, I can hear the fans starting up but then they stop. It won't turn on at all now. If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate your help! I might have to take it to a repair shop if I can't figure this out myself.

I had a similar issue with an older laptop. It turned out the stand I was using wasn’t very stable, which made it vibrate too much. This caused some screws to loosen and eventually fried the HDD. I just tightened everything up and replaced the HDD. Might want to check if something similar happened to yours!
Thanks for the tip! I tried unscrewing the back to see if anything looked off, and weirdly, it would start up if I applied pressure near the power button. So I'm thinking it could be more than just a dead battery. Maybe a loose connection?
