Hey everyone, I recently upgraded my entire PC setup. I switched from an Intel i7-9700k to an AMD Ryzen 5 7600x, and I got a new motherboard, RAM, and GPU. However, I'm still using my old SSD and hard drive. The issue I'm facing is that while the BIOS recognizes the drives, the boot menu shows no bootable drives, leaving that section completely empty. I'm really keen to dive into Monster Hunter, so any help would be appreciated!

It sounds like you might need to check some BIOS settings. It's possible your drives are fine, but not set up correctly for booting. Make sure to check the motherboard manual, as it often has specific instructions for the BIOS. Sometimes switching from RAID mode back to AHCI can fix things too, especially if your drives were previously used in RAID on your old setup. Also, if your boot drive was encrypted with Bitlocker, that could be a factor—make sure it’s set up to recognize the TPM if it’s required.
Definitely check out the BIOS settings related to boot priority. Sometimes the BIOS doesn’t automatically detect the new setup properly. Another thing to keep in mind is encryption; if your drive had Bitlocker enabled, it could complicate the boot process. Just a heads-up to look at that too!
You might want to look into whether your drives were used in RAID mode previously. Even if you didn't actively use RAID, it sometimes carries settings over. If that’s the case, you’ll need to adjust those in the BIOS. I recommend checking the manual as it can guide you on how to set things up correctly.
