Hey everyone! I just got back from a two-week vacation and before I left, I made sure to power off my computer, switch the power strip to 'off', and also turned off the power supply on the tower. But now that I'm home, the power button won't turn it back on. I've tried a different power strip and even plugged it directly into the wall, but still nothing. Is there something obvious that I might be missing? Oh, and just a heads up: while I was away, there was a crazy storm with a lot of lightning. I wouldn't think it would fry the computer since everything was switched off, and also, my monitors plugged into the same power strip are working fine. Any insight would be super helpful because I'm really puzzled about what might have happened!

You might want to try testing the power supply with what's called the 'paperclip test' to see if it's working on its own. It's a good way to figure out if the power supply is the problem without booting up the whole system.
I'll give that a shot when I get home! Thanks for the tip!
