Hey everyone, I'm having a major issue with my computer. When I try to turn it on, the CPU and GPU fans start spinning, but there's no display on the screen and my mouse isn't responding either. I've got exams coming up, so I really need to get this sorted out quickly. Any advice would be really appreciated!

First things first, you might want to reach out to someone at your school or university to let them know you’re having issues, especially since you have exams coming up. It’s always good to keep them in the loop.
Now, do you notice any colored LEDs on your motherboard? They could be red, orange, or white – that might indicate something. Since you're on a tight schedule, I’d recommend resetting the CMOS right away. Check if your motherboard has a button on the back for that. If not, you can either take out the CMOS battery for a minute or use a screwdriver to touch the two metal pins labeled 'JBAT1' for a few seconds. This should reset your BIOS settings to default and hopefully get your PC running again!
What did you do on the computer right before it stopped working? Sometimes that can give a clue about what's wrong.
Honestly, I didn't do anything unusual before it broke down.

Just a heads up, my PC is pretty old too, it’s got an i3 and a GT610 GPU and it still runs fine. Maybe there's hope for yours!
