I'm in a bit of a bind here. My computer just shut down unexpectedly while I was using it. After it turned off, the USB ports still worked, but when I tried to power it back on, the electricity in the house went out. I tested the PSU (power supply unit) on another computer and it worked fine, and I also tried a different PSU on my computer using its cables, but it still wouldn't turn on. When I press the power button, nothing happens at all—no error beeps when the RAM is removed, but the GPU's LED is still functioning. Is there any way to determine if the issue lies with the motherboard or the CPU?

It sounds like you might still have a PSU issue or possibly a problem with the electrical wiring in your room. If you can, try putting together a parts list on PCPartPicker and share it; that might help identify if there's something else going on. Don't forget to check your electrical setup as well!
You're right, I didn’t mention it. I tried a different PSU in my computer and got the same result, though.
