I was using my Dell G15 for studying, keeping it open and plugged in for charging. After about 20 minutes, I returned to find the screen black and unresponsive. The charging port shows a green light, indicating some connectivity, but my laptop won't turn on at all. The battery indicator lights up when I try to power it on, but the mouse light doesn't activate. The charging light doesn't flicker at all when I plug in the charger. I've already tried holding the power button for 15 to 40 seconds, and I also attempted combinations of the power button with F2/F12 and Ctrl+Esc, but nothing seems to work. I'd appreciate any help with this issue!

Try this troubleshooting method: unplug the charger and remove the battery if it's detachable. Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds. After that, plug the charger back in and see if the laptop turns on. Sometimes a simple reset like this can help fix the problem.
Yeah, it's a good idea to wait a bit. Giving it some time to reset might help. Just make sure it's plugged in when you try again!

I don't know how to take out the battery, but I'll look it up. Should I wait it out for a while? Maybe let it charge for 12 hours before trying again?
