My Dell Latitude 7424 Freezes on Linux—Any Troubleshooting Tips?

Hey everyone, I just reinstalled Fedora Silverblue on my Dell Latitude 7424 in an attempt to fix some graphical issues, specifically with the brightness controls and the sleep function. Unfortunately, after the reinstallation, my laptop keeps freezing during the setup or shortly after it, making it impossible to use. I've tried reinstalling a few times, but that's as far as I get. I also tried installing OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, but it froze again right after the login screen appears. I'm starting to think this might be a hardware problem. Can anyone suggest any troubleshooting steps?

I've had my share of troubles with Dell laptops running Linux too. I've got a Dell 7480 that runs Garuda Linux smoothly now, but it took a lot of trial and error to get there. Sometimes just sticking with the process is key! Don't lose hope; keep trying!

Should I just keep reinstalling until it works? Appreciate your encouragement!
