I recently upgraded my gaming setup with a Ryzen 7600 and an XFX 6700 XT GPU running on Windows 11. Everything was smooth until last night when my daughter launched a game from Steam. Suddenly, the monitor lost signal. After rebooting, any game I tried to play was incredibly laggy to the point of being unplayable. I've tested several games, and they all seem to have the same issue.
I made sure to update AMD Adrenaline and drivers, plus I ran a Malwarebytes scan, which came back clean. My internet connection is solid, so that's not a problem. Interestingly, the PC is unusually quiet – the fan that usually ramps up during gaming isn't doing its thing, although all the fans are running at what looks like idle speeds. I attempted to check temperatures in HWmonitor but wasn't sure what indicators I should focus on given the slow performance.
I'm feeling stumped here, so if there are any diagnostics or further information I can provide, I'd really appreciate the help!

Have you tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling the GPU drivers? I recommend using DDU for a clean removal. Given your description, it definitely sounds like a GPU issue. If you have access to another GPU, swapping it out for testing could help, too.
Just a heads up – always back up your data before making significant changes like BIOS settings or disk alterations. You might want to check out some FAQs on Windows 11 too, just in case there are settings messing with performance.
Another thing to check is the Task Manager. Go to the 'Performance' tab to see if your GPU is listed. When you launch a game, check the GPU usage. It might be using your CPU's integrated graphics instead of your dedicated GPU.
